Wow! Xivian’s mother also died of disease. I never decided what disease though… maybe cancer I think that’s something they wouldn’t be able cure with magic because they don’t know what it is at all or how it works. I never thought about what his dad died of… Either old age, disease, or idk maybe he tripped on one of the many staircases in his castle.

Rae left home 13 years ago when his father remarried, and it became clear his stepfamily wanted him out of the picture.
