Hello, good day. This is a really good idea. Haven't seen this done before. I'm RUQI and I recently started my first novel set centuries into the future, centred around Keni, who is being followed by a cult and neglected by her parents. Hope you enjoy if you decide to check it out!

I usually find lots of genres enjoyable, but my favorites would probably be slice of life, action and can't go wrong with comedy.

Right now, I’m not into any particular genre and am mostly looking to read different stories!
In general, I love reading fantasy, action/adventure, horror and romance at times too

i too struggle a lot with backgrounds! it was what made me take years and years to not start drawing comic earlier, but it have helped me in my progress a lot to build some basic shapes in a 3d program to get perspective and such off easier

As for what I myself am most interested in, it would be mostly Fantasy and Horror. But honestly I'm more of a visual reader, I tend to first get hooked for the art, and then for the story.

My Comic: A 90's styled fantasy adventure

LOOKING FOR
Comics I like:
Genre: I find myself drawn towards fantasy (high/urban/subjective), romance (both M/F and GL), steampunk, adventure, light sci-fi (not too serious and techy) nostalgia pop-culture, and cute experimental/whimsical projects.
Rating: I'm typically not into mature/X-Rated stuff unless the narrative really pulls me in. I like G/PG/PG-13ish
Art: I like to explore a variety of styles! I gravitate towards manga/anime/90's comics/Disney style

Other: good humor, solid worldbuilding, fun, minimal politics/issues (unless it really works seamlessly with the story), nostalgia, interesting character relationships, familiar tropes done in a fun way, cute animals
