My manga's female protagonist is called Nekoto, which literally means "sound of cat" in Chinese characters.It's mainly a combination of the Japanese words "neko (cat)" and "oto (sound/music)". In a way, it somewhat disregards grammatical rules - it's quite a freestyle naming choice.She is human but grew up in a village of furries. To look more like them, she wears cat ears. Additionally, she keeps a long string hanging from behind that looks like a cat's tail.
