you're right! i enjoy watching these because they aren't canon (let's be honest most of episodes aren't) so creators can make them do ANYTHING.

My fav was when Simpsons moved in haunted house, but i think i didn't watch every episode lol

@Black_Conscious Tbh, when a scene gets "messy", I squint my eyes sometimes.

@bluebellameng A lot of kids there, lol. If you didn't watch these movies already, I would recommend Sinister and/or Orphan.

@fleurravenbooks True. And the haunted house one is pretty good too.

In today's recommendation, we have a cult classic.

Even if they have Christmas as a theme throughout their movies, the spooks fit for Halloween.
And even if the Gremlins are cute and cuddly, stay by the rules otherwise, you're in a big mess.

I totally recommend His House on Netflix!
It was the first horror trailer that actually spooked me in a while!

Also recommend Spiral (not the Saw spinoff) if you can find it! To me it wasn't scary when I watched it, but has since stuck in my mind and given me shudders every now and then.

What I love about this movie is its body horror. The special effects are so good it looks almost real. I think they've won an award for it too.

In today's recommendation is probably the first horror movie I have ever watched.

Now, I watched the second at first, and it wasn't bad. And then a few months later, I watched the first one, and whooo boy, I say the first one is more brutal in tone.

I like killer kid movies.

It seems that people are getting ready for Christmas already.
Time for today's recommendation

Nothing says better Merry Christmas than Santa going on a killing spree.
The movie itself is just plain stupid, and I love it for this. And the bloopers at the end of the movie are just a little cherry on top of it.

Also, imagine getting hunted by this on Christmas Eve:

You're not wrong, they really likes to use kids to act up the scenes (cliche)
It's an Asian thing, they just want to evoke audience to a good cry, sometimes it's a good thing when done right.

Well I watched Busan and it does suffer with the kid trope and soap opera overacting. It has some decent moments and creates the fast zombie better than WWZ.
Speaking of Asian Cinema I always watch this every spoopy season!
