My style is very much inspired by late 80s to mid 90s cartoons. Think Ed Edd and Eddy, Invader Zim, Ren and Stimpy, with a lil touch of anime sprinkled in every now and then.

well for super hero or fantasy worlds, i think it would be fine. just maybe not for a support role in a modern romance

Well I am really old. Although Frank miller was the inspiration for the SIN CITY movies and the movie 300. Does that help?

Nooo, that might have made it worse lol. I only know SIN CITY as a nickname for Vegas, i didn't know it was a movie.

So this baby. I'm not even very sure what inspired this art style. Probably a good does of manga or manhwa, with the way they draw eyes at least. But the faces and body types are much too roundy and cute, maybe a little Strawberry Shortcake "Berry Bitty Adventures" meets 18 inch dolls. Hey, I grew up in the American Girl Doll era.

I forget about Chaykin but whenever I see his stuff I remember how great he is. And of course Frank Miller's silhouette work is always on point.

Frank Miller is the creator/artist of the Sin City comics, so the movies are based off his comic...he is also the creator/artist of the 300 comic from which the movie is based off.

My style is a TOTAL mashup of a ton of [comic book] artists that inspired me- George Perez, Walt Simonson, John Byrne, Joe Madureira, J Scott Campbell, Chris Bachalo, Humberto Ramos, Terry Dodson, Mahmud Asrar, Pepe Larraz, Stuart Immonen, and the main ones who have influenced my developing art style over the years: Marc Silvestri & Jim Lee.

People say my art is similar to Butch Hartman's art style like the Fairy Odd Parents and Danny Phantom. I LOVED those shows growing up so I'm not too surprised. Check out my work and let me know what you think!
