Alright then.
For NaNoWriMo, I suggest you write ALL the ideas one some kind of medium, then you can cross out, mix, or even combine the ideas. That way, you don't need to waste a lot of brainpower in thinking of an idea.
And about ideas: Don't limit yourself. The idea doesn't have to be 100% coherent; you can always go creative, go crazy until something good pops up. They don't need to be limited to the Earthly plane, you can go to thousands of different places with your plot.
Writing 1667 words a day is hard, I get that. (I mean, don't we all?) Don't pressure yourself with deadlines. If you really enjoy what you're writing, the words just flow into the paper, and you might even surpass your limits! Who knows?
It's also best to plan your story before writing it. Put up your characters, their characteristics, setting, antagonist, protagonist, all the works. BUT DON'T OVERPLAN!! A flaw that some people do is to make a condensed summary of the entire story, and decompressing it as they write. Speaking from experience, it's boring, and it feels like you're writing an essay. If you want to plan, put up the bare bones, and fill it up as the story goes by.
I've begun making something for NaNoWriMo. It's somewhat of a supernatural-slice of life thing about The Two-Faced City and an Angel and a Demon working out their roles inside of it. I'll post it once it's Nov. 1.
Somebody better continue these XD I'm also open to questions, if there are any...?
Here's my story, if you're interested:
Criticize it if there's anything to criticize, subscribe if you enjoy it!
Thanks!
