I like to classify myself as a Lesbian, but I'm sure some people would argue that I'm technically bi or something because my partner is a nonbinary woman, possibly genderfluid... I dunno, I'm just not into cis dudes and I like the word "lesbian".
I don't necessarily market my comic as an "LGBT story" because it's not about being queer. I had a really easy experience of coming out because my parents are extremely chill liberal types, so I'm not really the person to write sad stories about how hard it is to be gay, and I'm just not into the sort of lesbian misery porn that straight people seem to want to wallow in and give awards to. But in the same way as stuff I love like She-Ra and Steven Universe, it's a sort of fantasy adventure with prominent queer characters in the main cast who are not just queer-coded and whose personalities don't revolve around sexuality or gender identity.
In other words, yes, Sarin has a massive crush on Rekki, she has literally taken every opportunity to be physically close to her throughout the prologue. I'm looking forward to the timeskip after the prologue where we can get some proper grown up relationship drama going on as well as more like... people hitting big monsters with swords and stuff.
