I'm at 28 chapters posted! The story is written, and I will keep posting daily until it is complete. I'd love to connect with readers who are looking for a coming of age story with disabled and LGBTQ characters. It's a story of acceptance told through a restrictive village that engages in witch hunts.

This novel has a primary focus on disability with important LGBTQ characters, but I have other stories on the way that center queer folx even more. They are still on the way though.

The scene is set for the multigenerational family drama in my novel, My Crush's Father is My Father's Ex!

Alexander Alcantara is the son of Iñigo, who, after marrying Alexander's mother, opened up a café an ocean away from where he grew up. All he wants is a stress-free high school life. But then he meets Byron Yamashita, the new kid in school, and the son of Kenji, Iñigo's ex-boyfriend from almost twenty years ago.

As Byron grows closer to Alexander, the lives of the Alcantara family and the Yamashita family begin to intertwine in messy ways. Alexander especially gets more than what he bargained for, as he struggles with his father's past and his budding feelings for Byron, the son of his father's ex.

Follow Alexander, as he tries to go through his last year of high school in peace.

Romance (of any orientation) is not a notable genre in my comic, which is mostly mystery and action-fantasy, but there are multiple plot-relevant LGBTQ+ characters (including main characters) in the story. I won't specify which characters unless / until stated in the story as some plotlines are relevant to this information.

If you are interested in reading about a toxic five-man-band solving a murder mystery together, you can read the prologue chapters here before Act 1 starts this weekend!

Eli’s head snapped up at the sound of Fia’s throttled laugh. The blood knight looked at him, expression absolutely soaked in amusement and not an ounce of shame to be found amongst it. In any other situation, Eli would have called it stupidly charming, perhaps even strangely arousing, but at this moment, all he could feel was despair licking his lungs raw.

“You stand on thin ice, knight,” Eli hissed out. When Fia opened his mouth, Eli jabbed his index finger hard into Fia’s side. “Take care with the next words that fall from your tongue, or I’ll cut it from your mouth.”

Fia held Eli’s gaze for several agonizing seconds. Just long enough for Eli to steady his breathing and begin collecting his scattered thoughts again. None of this was supposed to have happened.

At least, not like this.
