"like" counter on stories not working again?

So I just had a few likes (got the notifications) on a couple stories but nothing is showing up on the dashboard page.

Anyone else having difficulty?

Yeah same, I refreshed it half an hour later and it eventually came up. Not sure if it was a fluke though.

I’ve experienced this, but I didn’t really do anything. Half a day later and I noticed that it were all updated
How long have you had this problem?

Pretty sure the counters only update after a new hour starts, at least that's what I've noticed

I got the notification that one of my readers had liked one of the chapters on a story on my computer and when I looked at the dashboard there was nothing to indicate it. I'm not sure how all of that works but I thought I'd ask.

Just wait for an hour or 2 like what @WillowTree and @MaeRose said ^^

Yeah, I figured. Sometimes they update asap and sometimes it seems like not at all. ah well

It very consistently updates for me on the hour. So any likes/subs/views I get starting from now, will show up in 56 minutes

It's funny how they work because I've actually watched them in real time update (yeah sometimes you just stare at the screen bleary eyed wondering why it's 3 a.m and you're not asleep).

Guess it's one of life's little mysteries I'm not all that concerned with solving. But still curious.

Yeah the counter is a little bizarre--like sometimes it'll show more likes than views (not often, but it does happen) or you'll get notified for a comment but it isn't there yet, eh, it's gotta update a lot of comics, I guess and it's probably going through a third party to get all that data to and from Tapas from other accounts.
