Not to my knowledge, it's always been the 1st of each month for me. I'm not sure if there's any different if you have it set that you get payment for each pledged post though as I have mine set up that I get the monthly payment.

Unfortunately that would seem to be the case. So come Dec. 1st you should receive your payment. It might be later in the day of the 1st but you'll get it.

I'll wait for that date and wish I receive the pledge. Or else, it would 4 months of pledge that I miss. I've had problem with patreon before so i missed 2 months, now that i changed it, i missed another month... LOOLL wish me luck ;-;

Check the latest notification they made. I already received my patreon support from them. Their notification states all the people that received support this time around, and it also clearly states that 1. "Eligible" doesnt neccessarily mean you'll get money from them since they support 300 people per month only, and 2. They supported 2 more people than their limit.

If you don't see your series and username on the list, then you're not getting any money this time around.

I just read through it! It's so gorgeous. I love how you draw guys and eye lashes. As someone who struggles with both I cannot help but admire them! I didn't read all the comments (because you're right, there are so many of them! ) but I hope you don't get too many negative ones. You're doing great work!

I know it's sorta late to the party, but which comic from Shen was harassed? The bike one? I actually liked that one lol (and I did stop following his comics a while ago just because he was kind of suffering from sequel-itis.... he had one "life personified as a buff guy" comic that made people laugh, and a lot of people got sick of it when that ended up being most of his comics for a looong time after that lol)

Yes the bike theft one. I poked around a little to find out more about the hooha (mostly read the about on reddit). The entire thing was pretty terrifying and I feel so bad for Shen

Until we see how the tiers change it's hard to have much of an opinion. A good chunk of the million dollars will be paid out already from this Nov/Dec. So I would imagine at least a third if not more will be paid out before the new year even starts.

I'm really curious to see how things will change in Jan

Hey guys! It's nice to see you all talking about subscribers out there. I have an update from a few months ago. If you remember, I was talking about drops in page views on LINE WEBTOON back in August. Well, now it's almost December, and I've been tracking it. Here's the subscriber trend since last August:

It's gone from 800 a month to virtually 0. No change on my end, quality higher, consistent posts. Obviously you can't contact LINE, God forbid, but here it is. A total disaster.

Yeah I haven't been on that long, but sometime in mid October they did an update and I swear it did something to cause a drop. Everyone is talking about midterms and I'm sure that is also to blame, but there was a night and day drop after that update. I personally noticed the discovery page always sorts by popularity by default now where as before it sorted by new/latest update. I'm sure there is more going on than that, but I don't think that helps.

me too, but because of that i didn't know what happened like everyone talking about, my subscriber didn't drop.

and what do you think of "fresh pick " section?
i don't know what they meant for "fresh" anyway but i noticed that they recommended 1 title twice, i think it's not fresh anymore and they will get more subcribers when they didn't need it anymore like they already had 30k subs.
and it's not really fair for other fresh title that 1 title get on recommendation title section for 1 month and then get on fresh pick too for 1 week. or maybe next 2 month they get on fresh pick again.

and 1 week they recommended six title and next week 3 title...

Yeah not sure how that works to be honest. Seems like they just pick comics that are already trending. I think financially it makes sense to promote those comics that already have a fan following, so I wouldn't be surprised if their update catered to that.

WelI I went from getting ~700 views per update to only 200 this update. Also usually get around 30 subscribers per update but this time got like 2. So there seems to be some change. I suppose I haven't been updating as regularly but when I took breaks even 6 months ago it didn't have that bad of an effect. Same for this time last year. I feel like there is less exposure for smaller comics with this new update, so guess I gotta pick up the slack.

Good news Axis finally reached 500 subscribers!

We were getting 20+ subscribers when we started but after the update we barely get a look in. We work hard to promote our comic on social media and that but it only goes so far.

Not going to lie, it's really soured the experience on Webtoons. I feel like they've made it even harder for new projects to break through. Worst of all, there's no feedback system such as a forum to help concerns like this be heard.

Whatever Webtoons has done has truly messed it up. The best part about Webtoons was literally the fact that it was so easy to get readership. Even the most simplest of of sketches could gather you a good 20-30 subs at the least, if at the cost of lower ratings.

Now, it's just stopped dead, hardly any improvements. The only good thing I can say is that there hasn't been much of any negative impact. It's just been the same and its been like that since the whole update. I too was getting about 10-20 subs per update myself and now it just grinds to a halt.

The ability to gain easy readership and subs was ultimately the biggest advantage Webtoons had over its competitors and now that it's seemingly gone, the one thing that makes Webtoons unique has essentially vanished.
