I'm trying to remember the name of a Tapas novel. It's about a young man, the youngest son of a family, who gets drafted into the army (I remember he had brothers but they could be selected for varios reasons, one was training to become a mage i think). He becomes a respected healer/doctor in the amry over the years. There’s a war against a mad scientist(?) who creates his own creatures out of his victims I think. The mc falls in love with a Fae prince (he doesnt know the guy is a prince at the start i think) with long black hair. The prince (who is known for his strong powers that can rival the mad scientists) saves him during a major battle towards the end of the war but the human(?) loses an arm. They can't be together because of family reasons, but the prince eventually makes his father release him from his engagement and chooses the human at a formal ball because of a favor I think. I've read this like a year ago and didn't continue it because it was still going on, but now I cannot find it anywhere because I stopped following the story. Has anyone has read this and/or knows where to find it?
