Looking for a translator/grammar check for my comic (PAID)

Hi there! My Name is Mochi, and I'm a Chilean artist. Maybe seems that I'm a fluent english speaker, but the truth is very difficult to me write and speak in this language. Cause' that, I'm looking a bilingual person (who speaks both languages as well, or more fluent than I am) or someone who checks my grammar if I can't find someone who speaks also spanish. I'll pay per page of script, but I can negotiate. Thanks for reading, here is one page from my comic, is here on Tapas by the way!

Hi, I've studied/spoken Spanish about 7 years now, but I'm a native English speaker. I don't specialize in Chilean Spanish, but I speak closer in grammar/vocab to Latino than I do Castellano. I'm not sure if that's the kind of bilingual you're looking for. This is a tentative offer, but what kind of budget are you working with per page? Even if I can't do it, it'll be nice to for others viewing this thread to know.

Hi, um... It's all negotiable, I count with $2-$7 payment per page, but it's all negotiable. Please keep in mind that it's the first time that I ask for this kind of help.
And I'll use to use a neutral latin american vocabulary, so don't be afraid of weird or unknown words

@Mochistuff I don't know what that would be per hour, but I'm okay with a low budget since it's pretty much just skimming for grammar and translation, nothing heavy. How fast do you expect responses and turn around, and how long would this go on for?

I'll give you some reasonable time (2-3 weeks for 10 pages of script) and I'm expect to write and draw my comic for a long term, so you will have work for one year at least. If you think it's too low the payment you always can may your own offer.
Please keep in mind that i'm a college student and I don't have all my time to spend it in this project, so I'm a bit slow writting, but I'll pay you the sooner you send me the script translated.

@Mochistuff okay! I will have to think about it. I'm also a college student working in comics, and during the school year I have two part time jobs. I don't want to commit to it during the summer when I'm more free, then be too busy for you during the school year.

I think I'm going to say tentatively that you should keep looking/keep this thread open for someone who has more time on their hands, but if in a couple weeks you haven't found anyone else who's interested in helping, you're more than welcome to message me?

When you have more free time, would you send me an e-mail? I'm very busy right now too, I'm in exams, but I was looking for someone when I'll get vacations, I didn't finished the writing of the second chapter yet...

@Mochistuff sounds good, I will! I didn't realize you might still be studying right now. I'm on break, but working, and school for me is Sept - Dec and Jan - May. If you want time to get more chapters finished first, then don't worry about being quick! I'll send you an email, or you can go ahead and send one when you feel like you're ready to have stuff read.

You might think about an approach other than translation. Providing context based dialog might be easier than trying to fit a direct translation into a space on each panel..

@writercynknapp normally when you translate, you do it the way you described! Translation isn't about word for word, it's about getting the same general idea.

@EterPaladin if you are way more available than me and @Mochistuff is interested, I'm totally okay with you taking the job!!
