Looking for artist for long term webcomic opportunity [PAID]

I am an experienced prose writer looking to transition into comics. I have begun scripting a webcomic series with the intention of hiring an artist capable of creating the visuals for it in its entirety as a webcomic in traditional page format. You may find the logline for the work below:

The Serpent's Daughter is a mythological, urban fantasy, sci-fi adventure comic. Humans and mythical characters seem to coexist peacefully in this urban landscape, until one gorgon girl discovers a secret that lies beneath her city’s surface. (SFW)

Please note that this works primarily features and focuses on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ characters. With that in mind, and as a Black queer content creator myself, I would like to prioritize Black, POC and queer artists. Pay rate is approximately $75 per page (about 4-7 panels each). Must be 18 or older to apply.

Hi can i ask question? How long is long term means? And how complex is the coloring? Is it simple or complicated or you can provide art example? Also how the work is distributed, does the artist also need to do storyboard and just translate your script or they only need to do the drawing? Thanks.

No problem! Yes, when I say long term I mean it would be an ongoing project for the forseeable future. I can also provide art samples if you share some examples of your work as well. And yes, the artist would go based off of a script to produce the pages.

My idea for the update schedule is to do 1 page per week (a page for me being approximately 4-7 panels) or 2 pages every 2 weeks. Essentially four pages a month right now just as things get started. Let me know if you have any other questions!
