I’m afraid the Tapas forum might disappear at some point, so I’m throwing this out there. I’m an award-nominated writer looking to connect with comic artists who might be interested in working together in the future. Projects may involve webcomics, short pieces for anthologies, and longer pieces for publication.
I write dark, plot-driven fiction, with a speculative setting, and my characters are usually somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. My stories are a mix of drama, romance, and action.
I currently have an ongoing webcomic, but wouldn’t mind doing another. I’m considering a webcomic based on my novel “Nights with No Moon” (currently available on Tapas), beginning at [30.1] (otherwise it’ll be waaay too bloody long). If you’re interested, please take a moment to check it out. It’ll give you a sense of what I write about. You can skip to [30.1] and the story should still make sense.
I have a lot of ideas for shorts/one-shots and would love to work on a graphic novel with someone.
I’m looking for artists who are motivated and pay attention to detail. Knowing how to draw pretty boys is a must, as-is a willingness to draw nudity and tolerance for vulgar language. I’m open to collaborations if you have an idea you want to work together on.
Interested artists can email me at kalenight(at)gmail.com. Please include your page rates for both black and white and colour, along with examples of your work (both sequential art and illustrations).
