I'm not Native English speaker and translate my comics to English before publishing it, so I though I may give you some pieces of advice here. if there were not people who can really help you.
It's okay that you share about this collab here. but I guess it's might be hard to be seen by proofreaders. I think first of all you should gain some fans, here or in DeviantArt, Tumblr or twitter. I don't know, wherever you're interested. and after that asking person to help you proofread your works.
I remember when I had no fans I keep asking for a proofreader's everywhere and it was so hard to find. or they weren't really good.
but after I gain follower, almost everyone wanted to help me and they were so excited to know about future Episodes sooner.
I don't know about your story but it seems cute and I think you talented enough to gain followers fast.. so >w<;
in the other hands, I guess you can find some good people in language learning programs. such as italk or hi native. there are so many people who are interested also.
