Also you can comission Quirklicious (which bust CG drawing in 2010 costs from $250) but cannot pay more than one dollar a chapter for editor? Why also you have six editors?

I feel like you didn;t read what i wrote. I pay my editor 5 Percent of my earnings, and i pay a line editor $2k.

So i pay about $2600 dollers in professinal services per month. The problem because of the speed i write at they are a few chapters behind.

I am looking for volutiers which i have about 8 already to help me get my work outfaster. In return im just giving them a little something back, people who just want to do this in thier free time or practise.

I don't have time to draw these days as i write about 8 to 9 hours a day.

So i picked a cover i thought suited my novel. My novel then in the meantime became very pouler fast which i wasn;t expecting

Usuelly I pay every ten chapters (For paypal fees) then at the end of the month depending how well sales are i give every one a bonus. like 50 dollers or so on top of what they have done.

It's still exploitative. If you were really committed towards uplifting your fans and helping them gain experience, you'd still pay them appropriately for their time. You're relying on the weight of your platform in order to exploit your fans to work for you for peanuts.

If you are wondering why you are getting such an aggressive stance here. You may want to consider that this site is joint between comic creators and novelists. I mean, everyone should be aware of art theft, but you are literally addressing artists directly here and telling them you're comfortable with stealing art, and are actively using stolen art. It's a pretty disrespectful stance to this community.

Anywho, glad you will be replacing it ASAP, and hope you (and everyone else) will reconsider using stolen art in future.

If you are wondering why you are getting such an aggressive stance here. You may want to consider that this site is joint between comic creators and novelists.

Also, Tapas as a platform has an amazing stance on paying people competitive and fair rates for their labour as a platform as well. So it like double hits, because Tapas is built on a principle that is anti-exploitation of artists and novelists. That's in stark contrast to webnovel, who basically have it as their policy to exploit as many people as possible. It doesn't surprise me that they're A-OK with art theft or using trademarked characters.

I didnt once say i was comfortable using stolen art, I feel people have misread everything i posted. i messged Kawacy asking if i could use the art. they said Yes, it was a fan art but it didn;t belong to him but belonged to Atlus.

I hen asked Webnovel if it was okay in the mean time (My contracted publisher and they said it was fine)
I literally pay for every but of artwork i have.

I pay my webtoon artist $1000 dollers a month
i pay an editor $600
I pay a line editor $2000

I Payed for my previous covers as well.

As i said i had a perticuler artist i wanted to coommsion my work, they were very busy and can finally start working on it Monday and will be done Wednesday. the reaosn i used a pouler art work form a game was so people knew, i wasn;t trying to hide anything when i could have easily just used a radom perosn on devient art

I see, I was under the impression from earlier posts that you had not had an answer back from Kawacy.

It is regardless, still stealing from Altus, so the point stands, and I'm sure you can understand the context that people would be troubled.

For what it's worth (and I'm sure it isn't much) I am personally happy to hear that you received the go ahead from Kawacy at the very least.
