Im really not simping, yyou tell me how tapas is any different ith the 50/50 percent pay? where you make what you sell. You take only the negative and you have to understand what is written is mostly talking about Qidan contracts. Not WEbnovel.

Qidian is the Chinese version of webnovel. WEBNOVEL is even blocked in china because they don't follow the same rules.

and they read the ocntract without getting a lawyer to calrify everything first and then relise tis actulley the same as nealry every contract out there.

There is even the option to sighn non exlcusive so you can ost your work anywhere you want.
As i said there is no where in the ocntract stated that you have t write a minum amount you can write and pst whenever you want.

If oyu want to get thier small amount of Guarentee money then yes you have to write a lot.

There is a wattpadd author who recently moved her works over to webnovel. She has two completed books and only 60 chapters for both of them. And is earning 20k per month on them at the moment

I can't. I'm under contract with Tapas and on an NDA about contract clauses. I can tell you they are 100% a world away from Webnovel ones and centre creator's rights and needs above all else though.

Having seen contracts from all the other very large web novel platforms and a few trad publishing, I can say that this is absolutely 100% false. There are clauses in there that Tapas, Wattpad, Radish etc. would never.

I have no idea what this sentence says but I think I get it. You're trying to discredit someone who knows because they have signed contracts and know the clauses in them, by saying that they're not popular enough to have an opinion on it. They never said anything about earnings - just predatory clauses.

Im sure there are premium authors on Tapas that earn little compared to the authors on top,a nd they should also knwo that its 50/50 per sale of every chapter and chapters cost are decided by word count

@KRWright When I'm bored , I review people's comics over here. I just make a random thread on the forum and ask people to post links to their comics/novels. If it's interesting, I subscribe, else after maximum two episodes I leave feedback with good points and bad points.Since I'm aware many people often look for concrit and at the same time, I dont want to demoralise them, I post both aspects of their art. I also know many people post here, with the intention of improving themselves, so I also point out basic grammar mistakes and improper use of tense since that provokes me a bit?

In any case, if you're making #1 slot money, you can apparently afford to pay more than a dollar a chapter, even at 45% tax. Seeing as you've just argued that Webnovel pays so well, it isn't predatory etc. that means you must be doing pretty alright.
