Looking for feedback on my comic

My comic is Harmony Monsters and I just started it on here with posting the first 13 pages. I would really appreciate feedback, especially with the art style.

It's inked traditionally with a lot of cross-hatching which seems almost opposite to a lot of other comics on here and that makes me question if it's a good choice or if it makes it too sloppy and unreadable? Anyway, any feedback would be amazing and thanks for your time!

your art style quite interesting but the story is very off putting maybe is the font that make me lose interest or maybe it's just me butt trust me, some other person will think is amazing so keep doing what you're doing

I think your art style is just fine, and the more practice you get the better it will be. You could maybe experiment with adding colour to make the pages pop a little more. But as said above I think you need to work on the plot a little more. It is quite heavy on the exposition for so early in the story. We could do with maybe some info about the characters and setting before the more heavy stuff to keep us interested. I like the turtle idea though so there is potential there. Hey there!!

I think you art shows great potential and the more you create the better you'll get!!

I do think adding a bit of color would be a plus to your comic! In you banner the hairs and the "spiritual pets" have colors and it gives a nice touch to it!

About the story itself, I like the raw idea!

The energy animals/creatures are a great idea!

The plot it's not making justice to the idea!

You start sharing a lot of information early on and it's too soon for the readers to get a bit more connected with the characters (or some of them).

I would say give us more context to their past/present or personalities for example!

I know you want to share with your readers everything because you are excited to share your story but you don't have to give all at the same time! You can keep more mystery to it!

Examples: Your character seeing things and other people around him don't see. Him trying to ignore an animal that is in his room and the pet is trying to get his attention!

All of those type of things would be fun to read and step by step you could introduce other characters with the same abilities !

You can even give us flash backs if you prefer, since you already started, of past situations or context to previous events!

These are all suggestions to motivate you!

I think you have potential and the story too!

I quite like your art style - it's refreshing to see different approaches - and it seems like the type of story that'll allow or the art to evolve along the way.

The general story advise regarding exposition/pacing from others here is solid, but I'd add that there's a possible satirical whimsy at play in your approach that it could be really fun to see develop.

Thanks to everyone that's read and given feedback! I'm going back into the first pages and looking to improve them so please check back if you don't mind and see how it both looks and reads!

Among the things I've changed is the font, added color, and ironed out some of the exposition out of the plot.
