I've been browsing this forum topic for a while (and actually found some really cool ones to read now thank you) but had been on the fence about whether or not to talk about my own comic because as it is right now, there isn't much shown although it will progressively start to push some of the characters in who they identify personally (as a priority) and where it goes from there. Identity is the main theme of the story and how you see yourself but it is more of a personal experience and about loving yourself to then properly express it toward others.
A lot of them are young kids so there's a lot of moments where they're not sure who they want to be, and will constantly slip up, and it's a central point once they're given the chance to. I have a character called Hessa who is genderfluid, my main Acantha is aro/ace and asked for female pronouns once she figured out what they were, and there's a bunch of other characters later. However, the vast majority are aces (some panromantic, buromantic, aromantic, etc) because I'm ace/panromantic(maybe?) and I just wanted to see characters like that.
But tbh I'm asking about it on this topic for advice since there's so many awesome comics here. I want to say it's dealt with and the characters bring it up (but haven't had the chance to as much) but it's not a central point. The main one is about the feeling of exclusion, finding solidarity, and finally attachment to your present and those around you (be it romantic or nah). So the entire comic is about understanding yourself as a whole
Wouuuld that still count?
