I'm looking for an artist to draw my webseries but I'm mostly looking for a member of the team to help with it, not just draw stuff and dip but also give feedback and consider themselves one with the project. I've been passionate about this for over a decade now and it's pretty much my life's work, and I ain't ever getting tired of it. The first artist stole over a thousand dollars from me and dipped, the second just got too busy with school and work to continue the project but drew half of the next chapter. I've kind of accepted the series wont have a consistent artstyle at this point so you don't have to worry about accommodating someone else's style.
About Payment: I'm going to pay $20 per page, price negotiable but not by much. Last time I posted this people jumped me saying "THATS NOT ENOUGH PER HOUR YOU NEED TO PAY ON PAR WITH SHONEN OR OTHER STUDIOS", its a consistent form of money provided by one person, me, I'm not paying per hour, you could take a month to get it done, I don't really mind. I work minimum wage, I cant expect to pay people per hour to begin with and that's part of why I'm working hard on a promotion. I feel that idea is flatout unrealistic, as if I was a major studio like shonen or could pay $100 an hour, I wouldn't have trouble finding an artist, stop scaring people off my posts with your warped mindset. Plus, I'm not even asking for color. I'd prefer as much work done in as short of a time as possible obviously, but there really isn't anything holding you to that. Sooner you get it done tho, sooner I can pay again, so I hope that's enough incentive to get stuff done. With my most recent artist they were just really busy and I'd wait a week or two for one page and where I'm kinda okay with that I guess it felt like way too long, and I'd die of age before even getting off the first arc lmao, but that's not really their fault and there's no bad blood between us, they just have other priorities now.
The method in which I pay is also negotiable, I really don't wanna get money stolen from me again though.
About the Project: https://tapas.io/series/Austra-Estelle/info
I've been writing the story for it for a little over a decade and just recently started converting it into webcomic format, so the quality of the storytelling starts strong cause I spent months on that first chapter, then it kinda dips cause 2&3 I wrote in one day, 4&5 I was experimenting a bit, and now I really have down how to do this and how I want to do this, and even have a team of 7 people to review the work and make sure I'm held to my own standard.
It may seem like religious propaganda at first, but I assure you it isn't. It will also change genres kinda regularly, but it's primarily an action/adventure with a lot of inspiration from One Piece and similar manga.

Email me at peshysoddle@gmail.com, I'll be hosting this in an audition sense. I made a few of these posts before which is how I found both my previous artists, and each time I got around 30 artists which was amazing and allowed us to choose from a variety of styles and work. Send an email containing your art and concerns which we can discuss, and I'll be sending all art to my team to decide an artist on the 28th. Even if you aren't chosen, there's still some work for you, as I really like supporting other creators and am willing to have you draw a chapter cover regardless, as I want a different artist drawing a chapter cover art for each chapter. Just don't expect to be contacted too soon for it, since that work is up to the primary artist and how fast they work lmao.
Excited to see your emails, and to the people who applied for this literally every time I posted this, that's honestly absolutely awesome to me and I'm becoming biased due to your dedication.
I also have a bigger team now judging and voting and helping with the project, so there's that!
I'm pretty bad with closing statements, I didn't wanna be professional here cause it just isnt my style, and I've been super anxious given this is my fourth time posting this so uhhh yea, let's hope this time it's luckier.
I WILL be engaging and replying to every email, so expect to hear from me! I hate leaving people on read.
Hope to see you soon!
