I still consider it new on here -- I'm coming from much older writing sites than Tapas (been on Wattpad for almost ten years). But it's true comics get far more promotions than novels do, when I try to find novels on the app I've scroll almost to the bottom to find anything. If possible, in the future, novels and comics would've equal promotions on the app and on the site. However, we aren't at that point yet.
That would be a partial solution, although just like when Wattpad had the forums mostly creators are on here, not necessarily readers. It's rather about finding a way to reach them but we can't choose for them what they like reading. That's up to them. I'm both a reader and a writer, it's pretty common for those who write to be that. Many of us started with reading books for years before turning into writers ourselves.
