I have taken a look at your script and was very agreeably surprised. I am a bit nitpicky when it comes to literature, whether it be prose, poetry or in the form of a theater play. Let's say I do not read contemporary very often. But your script is very interesting, I like the soft sarcasm (without the vulgarity that generally accompanies sarcasm - at least, my sarcasm) that transpires through it. And of course, it is relatable. The moving, the changing environments and of course, starting university. So much stress at once for poor Sarima. Very nice.

I write quite a lot of short stories that vary length between 2,000 words (~3 pages) to 10,000 words (~16 pages)!
I write predominantly fantasy with a couple of instance of science fiction.
In particular, I currently have:
* a horror/speculative fiction story that's about 7 pages long (not online anywhere but I could send it to you if you were interested in taking a look;
* a magical realism deconstructed fairytale that's also 8 pages (you can read it here )
* a slice-of-life contemporary fantasy that's about 10 pages (you can read it here )
* and a dark fantasy/humor Christmas story involving a puppy from Satan that's 7 or 8 pages (you can read it here).

I'll probably have two more available soon, haha. A 2nd person science fiction story involving searching for someone on a collapsing planet, and a humor/fantasy thing that is a bunch of warriors in a high fantasy setting playing a DnD-like game that involves things like completing quests to get promoted at your office job, and battling with annoying neighbors over petty issues.

Edit: I also have a little personal experience of transferring prose to a script for a comic and making thumbnails and whatnot, if that's helpful at all.

Edit 2: I'm also happy to exchange services, since what you're offering is pretty cool! I can write, obviously; and offer proofreading/editing; narration for audiobooks; stuff like that.

Not looking to be part of the competition. Just wanted to drop in and say that @okellymx you're art is really amazing and has a very laidback tone while also capturing the specific emotion you wanted to portray. Hope you find a great writer to truly make your art bloom ^^

These seem a lot longer than what I'm looking for. While the prose is under10 pages but in comic form it seems these would be much longer. However I really think you did a great job with the Apprentice Witch story, I want to draw that. I'll come back after I finish a couple of the shorter ones.

Are you good with drawing non-human humanoids? (Anthropomorphic animals, mechanical begins, etc.)

I think I can draw pretty much anything provided I have some frame of reference. However I do not draw things in different styles.

Hi ^^ I would love to collaborate with you on a short story for our comic. We are currently looking at artist to do short stories within the larger universe of our Frontier-0 story. The one I have in mind for you would be 3 or 4 pages long. All the characters are already designed and I can show you a reference (they're all aliens though if that's ok lol, if not I can pick another story more focused on humans), and I think the main one would suit your style. It's a sci-fi setting, semi serious but leaning towards comedy overall. I need to finish writing the script, which should take me until the weekend at the latest if you're interested. I know you said not paid unless we're selling it, and currently we're not, but can't say if that wouldn't change in the future if we make a full collection of all the stories. So, if you want to charge us, let me know how much it would be as well as if you're interested to get started on finishing that script. Thank you! ^^
