That Stick Figure Isekai explores this cool concept/theory called Kenosis. Basically it's God draining what made him so great so he can be reincarnated as Jesus. Personally, I don't believe in the concept (contradicts some stuff), but I thought it would be a really neat idea to explore with anime characters from different worlds who claim to be main characters.
Strip down a character with a unique artstyle and power and what do you get? A stick figure. Obviously it's about personal growth and characters realizing that while yes, their life has significance and while you are one of a kind as an individual... so is everyone else.
Another theme is how every belief has nuggets of truth which is why they work and in order to get together, we gotta dig them up and connect.
Also redemption and how God doesn't make garbage.
Overall, I just wanted to make a comic that's optimistic and isn't preachy at all. Aside from everything I mentioned, humor is pretty dry and dark.
