Hi guys, i'm starting to work with manga studio Ex 5 to do my comic, all the panneling is ok but it is EXTREEEEMELY INEEFICENT when it comes to lettering. Having to change the font over and over again when you select the tool delays you sooo much.

And the worse is that if you duplicate the layer only one of the two texts is visible.

Is there any way to change this? (Please tell me there is, please).

I use CSP so not sure if it is different, but I make a text setting I like and then lock it so it doesn't change.

Also is all your text on the same layer before you duplicate it? You can merge layers if you want it all on the same layer.

Try putting the settings you want in before using the tool.

im still figuring this out myself - what i tend to do is copy/paste, drag, repeat, from one a first formatted textbox

i use clip studio paint alot for absolutely everything and i swear by this program, but frankly it's just as shitty as photoshop. But bear in mind i use clip studio paint and i'm assuming it's the same as manga studio Ex 5.

The method i will show you, allows you to save your text settings so that when you use the tool again, you don't have to keep resetting it which sucks.

hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, i'm here, i pretty much have mastered clip studio and all it's set backs.
