Might need a little bit of help with vertical formatting

So, I decided that I was gonna have at least part of the prologue for DRAGOONS be done in the vertical scroll format to give it a bigger sense of atmospheric and dramatic build up if that makes sense.

However, because of how new I am at how the vertical format works, I think I might need a "buddy" of sorts to help show me how to thumbnail it, draw it out, format it, etc.

Would anyone be willing/able to help me like that?

Here's a few pointers since I'm obnoxiously passionate about vertical scroll as a format and art.

1. Upload your episodes to Deviantart's Sta.Sh to test them. You can upload very large files on there and then view them on mobile, so you can much more easily gauge if your text is too small, panels too crowded, etc.

2. Make use of the vertical format! There's so much more you can do than just have it be floating boxes in white space. Think of ways you can have panels lead into other panels. Here's kind of an example from my own comic, where I had the smoke lead down through the top panel. This is especially easy to do with stuff like sound effects.
   

   

3. This isn't like... a law of vertical scroll or anything, but just something I kind of advise. For paneling, I kind of have a "stacking boxes" and "bookshelf" rule. In other words, you want to stack your square panels, but your long, rectangular panels can go next to each other.

Like I said, that isn't like... a requirement, but it's something I know a lot of people don't realize when they're switching from traditional format to vertical. We're very use to putting 2-3 panels on a row, but that comes across really cramped in vertical. Also, keep in mind by stacking those panels, you're increasing read time. Takes longer to scroll down 2 panels than 2 placed right next to each other, making the episode feel longer than it really is.
