It makes me wish that the chain Uwajimaya expanded farther. I loooove their stores, but the nearest is at least 4 hours from me. It's basically an Asian grocery store full of products meant for their cooking styles- like more vegetables and flours for their style and around any Asian holiday of any country or religion, they fill up a section with the holiday stuff - like the lunar New Year gets tons of attention far more than just whatever animal is coming up.

WELL! Thank you for saving me a long-ass drive! Cause it's my luck to drive somewhere far away and find they don't have what I need hahaha

If you know the name and location you likely can find their phone number on google or somewhere, and call to see if they have it. They'll usually hold it for you too

Oh wow that does sound awesome!! I can almost guarantee that there's not one of those around here hahaha! There's a store about 2 hrs away from here called Jungle Jim's that is the biggest grocery store I've ever seen in my entire life b/c it has a massive international section with a row for just about every country in the world. I'm sure they'd have mooncakes there, but with things they way there are with COVID right now, I'm not sure I'd want to make the trip and take the risk...decisions, decisions
