Okay, since you've finished with your break (yeah, you are >D) and I kinda was in the same situation some 3 years ago (a few months of a gap between the first chapter and second one) , I'll tell you: just do it!
Motivation is something you'll have to do by yourself, obviously. It won't come from anywhere else, so put your music on, maybe read your favourite comic (because you want to become like this artist, don't you!), look at all the best pictures, put on Shia LaBeouf mix or something, and start working! Don't forget to pat your shoulder for every finished page
buy yourself an ice cream or two for the finished chapter.
Also... Remember why you're doing it? It's probably the world you like, the characters you love, the story you enjoy, and no one but you can make it come true. Everything will become better with time, your art, your storytelling, probably even your motivation. There are people out there who will enjoy this story, so give it to them.
Here's the thing, you can drop it now and maybe try something short, something you can finish in like 2 weeks, if you have such a story. Just to understand that you can do it, you can finish a comic. But this feeling of neverending story will most likely return with the longer comic, so you just have to deal with it. So I wish you most of luck and being productive and happy with what you are doing
