You've got the right attitude with the comments, too. Reddit can be awful like that, so just waving them off and choosing to revel in the positives is healthy and admirable! Obviously a lot of people liked it much more than the arses in the comments.

It is indeed haha. And it always seems like if one person leaves a negative comment, a ton of other people latch onto that mentality and instantly decide they need to he negative too. I've heard it referred to as the Reddit Hivemind, which seems very accurate to me haha

I haven't ventured far from tapas but from me seeing how majority reacted to that is just astonishing of how people could be of .. dang, like I do know people could do that but its just wow

But moving away from the negative and towards the positive I've found that scene quite funny, idk it just seems like an instinct I should do.... i- I-in my head that is .. lol heh

The thing about this kind of humor on reddit is that only people who want to have a discussion will comment. The people who love it will most likely laugh and hit the upvote button or share it with someone but they are unlikely to comment, so you end up with comments being skewed negative. But that doesn't mean it didn't bring a lot of joy as you can tell by the sheer number of upvotes . Ironically the more professional something looks the less likely redditors are to think of the creator when they start being critical which is... also odd.

Actually my husband was scrolling reddit and passed me the phone when this was on the front page (we have cats). I was like ooooh I recognize this artwork! Congrats @otterlyhuman !!!
