It's not on the level of the book covers I see on the app, but I find the art really cute. I commissioned an artist on fiverr to do it for me, and the rest I just edited on Canva. (Too lazy to PS unless it's for my photos. Haha)

Hey, sometimes cute and simple is all a cover really needs! It sets the tone for the story itself and that's all that matters! It's fine to be a little lazy btw. I more or less have a similar attitude when I make novel covers.

It's so much harder than making comic covers since comics are so much more of a visual medium and you know what everything looks like, but for novels it's all in your head. And for me especially, I'm not good at detailed character descriptions, so for my covers (unless I have a really clear vision of what a character looks like) I just try to create a vibe. It feels rushed and boring tho, so I usually end up drawing the characters anyway... Idk, I guess this is why comics are a better medium for me

The story is cute! At least that’s my opinion of it. Haha.

And don’t worry about it, I like when people share their thoughts with me. I do agree that making covers for comics cannot be compared to novel book covers. I think that another problem is that other people will always have a different interpretation of your characters no matter how descriptive you are. Because you present it to them in words, not with visuals.

Side note: I’m hoping in the future I can incorporate digital drawings into my photography because most of my concepts are anime-inspired. I want to invest in drawing tablets next year to learn, and figure things out. So there, I shared something about myself too.

I love how interesting your cover is! It is really distinct and the coloring is really nice.

I thought it was time for a new cover and so I came up with this. I never really thought hard about cover designs and so they always looked boring. I love the newest one the most for sure.
