I like a lot of mythological creatures but probably as buddies rather than pets. Maybe an Alicanto, a cool shiny bird boy that's probably very expensive to keep but can eat less valuable metals depending on the legend.
A DRAGON! I don't care what size it is, just gimme one! Spyro, Shenron, Ancalagon, Charizard, Drogon, Toothless, whatever, I'll take them all!
Please refer to this handy chart.
Mine too! I like how GRRM explained why his dragons are all wyverns; because six legged animals don't exist in nature. So if a dragon were to evolve in the real world, they'd only have 4 legs.
Erm... insects?I hate 'em but I can't deny they exist.
I'd love to have an amphisbaena!
Lol! I don't think a dragon would evolve from an insect. I was referring to mammals, reptiles and birds. But yes, there are creatures with 6 and 8 legs.
Just saying. And yeah, I don't think dragons would have six legs.
Four legs at most, give they've evolved from lizards.
If in setting the dragons are magical creations, like owlbear, then it okay.
there are actually a subspecies of dragons (recent) called fairy dragons and well
butterfly =D
I choose to believe it's tiny and I could keep it in a butterfly cage.
yeah fairy dragons are usually small little critters since they are based on insectsthough that also means this exist
Please censor that or something. That's terrifying.
Entomophobia over here, that's kinda setting me off.Fight or flight and all that.
Fenrir. Definitely Fenrir. Wouldn't even have to try and come up with a name.
Definitely one of these. Multiple animals in one? Yes, please!!

Am I the only one who's first thought was the luck dragon from The Neverending Story??? Also, any dragon would make me happy!!! Dragons are my friends!
A Distlefinck. It's a bird that probably brings good luck, but maybe not, no one's really sure. It's a creation my grandfather came up with in a poem.
Falkor! I love him but his back is kinda disgusting. Those pink scales looked like pimples to me when I was younger.
I was going to look for a picture of this one and thought, 'let's check if anyone did the work already'. Thank you
Cerberus, or Fenris Wolf. They are good boys.
