That's a very eclectic collection of inspirations lol. But glad it's working for you! You're series is some of the most interesting/unique stuff I've seen since coming to Tapas. It's really cool how music can inspire a visual medium like comics. A lot of the mood and tone of my work is inspired by bands like the Unicorns and Kero Kero Bonito.

Also yeah SpiderVerse is fantastic. It's one of those movies you come out of wanting to be a better artist. I recently had that feeling with the show Succession. Where it was so smartly written and the characters felt so real that it made me want to be a better writer.

Ironically I took this method of mixing things from different sources from a creator I'm not really into? Genndy Tartakovsky. Like in Samurai Jack they transitions were inspired by the "Longest Yard".

Oh heeeeey Kero Kero Bonito. Still have the flamingo song in my head lol. I like to think songs are mini-stories. Most of my stories are mini-adaptions of songs I like (a big rule is I never do video games or movies).

Smiling Friends was another one for me :v

I think it's a fascinating way of doing a slice-of-life RPG's. Reminds me a little bit of Pokemon and Earthbound (I can see some of your music inspirations inside it). :0
