Need feedback! Checking if my contrast/brightness is good!

I just need to make sure these panels are visible (and not too dark)

Are these characters well contrasted with the background? yes or no?

I would say they're mostly good. The contrast is visible because of the bright colors. Love the art style also.

It's a bit low on the characters standing out from the backgrounds. The magic and stuff pops nicely, but try raising the value of everything else a little bit to contrast the black better. The third image particularly is hard to make out.

It is visible but to be honest it is not pleasing to look at and that´s a really difficult thing to do with 80% dark backgrounds

Most of these, you need to push it more. It's still too low contrast. The first one... sorry, but you kind of made the problem worse by lowering the contrast on the stepping stones/ path on the floor. Try instead, lightening the greenish grey surrounding colours so the black pops more.

Ey its no problem!
Does this look better? Just trying to juggle between making it visible and but not too vibrant since the lighting is emulating nighttime (hence the muted colors)

That's definitely an improvement. It's still a little dark to me, but be aware I'm looking at this on a forum with a white background so it might look okay in context.

Aight! Also yeah, I do have a darkish-greyish background behind these panels if that means anything, I'm still adjusting my monitor too with Nvidia, because on my monitor, the colors are slightly more vibrant than on my main screen asdfgh

And I tend to stick with mostly muted/dark colors for the backgrounds and I guess that ends up causing me to use lighting that is literally too dark when I transfer it to the actual normal screen.
