I am currently helping my friends print a zine and would like to know who here could recommend a decent printer! The book is going to be a simple 8.5x11 saddle stitch paperback Zine that will be under 60 pages! We would be printing probably several hundred zines and I’m trying to find something good quality that isn’t ungodly expensive. I have a few in my radar but am wondering if anyone knows of any hidden gems out there! Thanks!
There is Kablaam I think. ( Not to be confused with the TV show. ) I might consider it later myself, if everything seems to check out, and they're still in business.
Yeah I was looking at them I see a lot of people mentioning them :0 Thank you!
Do be warned, Ka-Blam's latest announcement is as follows, on their website:
TL;DR: Coronavirus screwing up their printing operations
Yeah I don’t expect anyone to be operating right now with the virus but I’m trying to use my new found quarantine free time to find some options for when it’s over!
Beat value copy!!!https://www.bestvaluecopy.com/down.html
Most general printers can handle comics and zines give you all of the options you might need to print and are usually cheaper than comics-specific printers.
I’d say 90% of my friends who print zines use BVC! They’re obviously down now but its a great option.
Dear god the savings on this one....THANK YOU
