I'm no elder in this community, but from what I've encountered, Tapas creators are more supportive and chill here. I've witnessed two altercations and both of them ended fine. No one lost their heads and went on a exposing tirade. Wattpad (for novelist) felt like forced military camp. The drill was to get up, go online, complain about something or another, brag about your story, sleep. Sometimes there were games woopdedoo.
If you wrote anything, then you had to be prepared to join circles of larger, older (i was a tiny Chuva back then), more experienced creators who both ripped on whatever was popular and actively contributed to whatever was popular.
Here it's support thread on top of support thread and that warms my heart up. It can get repetitive but not negative or useless (for the most part) in the way other forums can be.
