I guess they delayed it because of the scandal and the other contests this summer, but it just began and submissions close on Feb.11 if you're interested. Looks like the requirements are pretty relaxed this time compared to their previous contests. No minimum panel requirement, just two episodes, and you're allowed to submit the comic to other contests or post it on sites like Webtoons/Tapas as long as its for "non-commercial purposes". For those peeps that get ad revenue or pledge programs don't know how that applies to you. Also, their evaluation criteria is kinda vague, "originality, completeness, and entertainment value," so idk what that means. Its international, so it'll be really tough competition even if there are 10 winner slots, but I think its still worth doing!
I already have a few series that I couldn't finish in time for the line contest, so might as well. Though probably gonna focus on my BL/adult stuff since that's what Lezhin is kinda known for haha. This might be a good opportunity for those of you who with mature comics that have been demonetized/censored by Line webtoon. Idk just my thoughts, feel free to share what you think about it, questions you have, or if you plan to participate!
