New to Tapastic Hello!

Hey, just started posting here not to long ago and thought I would take a moment to reach out to the community and say hello. I'm a writer who crosses genre and enjoy writing both light hearted stories as well as darker toned ones. I would appreciate any advice you veterans have and would love to see some of your comics as well. I will post my current two comics I have on the site down below take a second to check them out and let me know what you think =)

Vigilance

Avian City is obsessed with the idea of
flight, but because of a plane crash a year ago that obsession has
started to become an area of conflict among the citizens of the city.
The city has also been over run with crime and its up to Vigilance to
save the city from itself. Vigilance is a new team of heroes who are
determined to clean up their city. and return it to the hopeful place it
ounce was.

Drakon Forge

Drakon Forge is an Action / Adventure / Comedy about a group of young travelers setting off on a quest to fulfill their dreams.

The story follows Aidan Keith and his quest to find answers to what
happened to his father. The sub plot is about each of the young heroes
pursuing their dreams, Aidan wants to be the strongest warrior, Sylvia
wants to be the best blacksmith and Felicia wants to be the most
knowledgeable mage.

Yello Im also a manga artist like you n make an action comic THE LAST SAMURAI though I'm taking a month or luckily some weeks off cuz of GCE AS level exams but after then I'll b coloring my comic.

Thanks, thinking of doing something with prose or scripts so I can release faster than having to wait for art like I am currently having to do. Still trying to figure out how to go about it since I don't want to just wall of text people I want to keep it kind of like reading a book or script but make things more visually appealing in such a way that its kinda like a web comic only a web book if that makes sense haha. Will probably have to make a lot of use of typography and negative space as well as playing on the vertical format of webcomic's scrolling. I might be creating a new medium haha.

Hmm, maybe experiment with basic vectors and shapes to aid with visuals and apply the text with it for a faster paced production? ^^" Idk, I kinda get what you mean, but I too am lost as to how ^^" If you do succeed in making a new medium, that'd be awesome to see

Agreed trying to figure out how to do it it really would be awesome to do what I am imagining if I can execute it properly will probably have to experiment with different things and see what works. More or less I want to use it as a way to see if people have interest in the story more so than doing a whole series in that manner. However if the story suites being told in that manner thats a different story I imagine something with a writer main character this would be a good way to portray that.

Welcome to Tapastic @dylankeefer1 and also YEY an new Superhero comic on the site. I like how it's theme is about flying too, it had a focus maybe my comic lacked originally. But nice to see some more superheroics around here
