Um...is anyone still promoting webtoons here? >_< I've been looking for a first, good promotion opportunity since I'm still struggling to get to 1000 subs. (I'm almost at 500...almost).

I guess fancomics are allowed for the Patreon pledge...but I seriously doubt they had checked for copyright issues with the original creator..

why is webtoon saying this when it's obvious it's pretty much impossible for any of us to check copyright issues with the original creator.
if I wanna do a sailor moon fanfiction comics how do i get ahold of Naoko Takeuchi? or the american company who has the right in the US?

I bet Webtoon don't care, if they like you're comic they let you through and if they don't, they won't let you get the pledge by inventing excuses as many other people have more views so they let these get the pledge first... So far it's how they dealt with things regarding other issues.

I guess webtoon don't like my comics lol they change the algorithm so that i don't get much pv like before..

I agree, sadly either webtoon likes a title (which they will boost repeatedly until it reach the high popularity they desire) or they don't and no matter what it will never promote it. The worse part is that they're probably cheating by cutting down the PVs. No wonder everyone's PVs have decreased so much.

getting unsub after updates is normal, a lot of people just subscribed on a whim, then they realize your comic is not what they expected, they leave. Also, alot of people subscribed by accident ( because of that one pop-up window ), so when they get noti of your update, they just unsub it.

But when you usually get around 200 subs after you update and it suddenly drops to around 30 after an update you begin to wonder.

idk, I get 8-10subs per update usually and they seem to stick , I didn't notice my subs decreasing so much like you guys say(maybe one or two for every 30)

Hmmm. last month subs for me is improving. In fact it is easy to get subs much more this days. from 30-60 subs per week before but now it's like 200-300 subs per week which makes me happy. But I still have problem of the views. I lost 10k PV this last month.
