I've been told mine is really niche
It handles very heavy topics of abuse / CSA. Being incredibly grounded but also having trippy dream sequences. Psychological thrillers in themselves are a niche, the subject matter my stories about makes that even more niche
the art also imo is a little unconventional, drawn in landscape style and using duotone (inspired by Half Alives music video for Arrow)

Mine may fit, I think? I've been told it's pretty niche, so I'll go with the opinions of others.

It's a victorian era (1850's) horror/comedy/drama about selling the dead. My protagonists are old farts with some questionable morals -- a loud quack doctor and a deadpan undertaker who team up and get bodies for a surgeon (and his very timid surgical assistant) in the nearby city.
I promise a historical fiction comic about the mishaps of 19th century medicine is a lot more exciting than it sounds! ...There's lots of fun to be had with corpses?

Are you kidding me? That sounds amazing! Then again that is coming from a med student who loves the 19th century.

I put my series here (which I'm just the writer), because, more than a Manga, it's a "Manwa" inspired Graphic Novel, A Fantasy with Sci-Fi Roots (Meaning that, It's not really totally "Fantasy", think of something similar to "Destiny"), set in a Terraformed Mars as the World of "Gaia" (Since "Terra" is already used for Earth, Mars use "Gaia"), more revolving about the Characters bonds (Especially "Family not by blood), experiences (Their growth), and traumas (Especially how they deal with it) rather than action (That's why I put Drama instead of Action, although, there might be some depending on the plot)... Don't know how niche that can be, even though, my self-esteem would likely say none, but I wanted to give it a try.

GENRE: Fantasy, Sci-fi Drama
There are so many people in the World of Gaia, each one of them has a story to tell, of events that changed their life drastically, both for the better and for the worst...
One start, and Five stories, of the preluding events that mark the beginning of the Story, of "The Golden Garden".

Set in a "Fantasy" world with Sci-fi roots, "Stories from the Golden Garden" is a Graphic Novel anthology that, following the Prologue, will tell 5 short stories about a few individuals, all connected by Destiny, while they celebrate 4 Holidays typical of their world, and also with the Origins of the Main Character, and that will all lead to the main story of "The Golden Garden".

Just about everything I create is pretty nice, so this is the perfect topic for me haha

My novel is a queer gothic fantasy story for anyone who loves classic high fantasy but also has a soft spot for Victorian gothic aesthetics. There's also just a little bit of horror elements thrown in, in case I wasn't already packing enough into this novel.

Then my upcoming comic is somehow even MORE niche. It's a prequel to the novel, and it's a....queer gothic fantasy detective story/MURDER MYSTERY featuring self-fulfilling prophecies and unexpected magic.

Niche yes, yes to infinity. Its a mystery novel which I now know arn't too popular in most online spaces. Like wow that genre sparse on tapas, like damn. But its start off as a somber slice of life with the initial disable MC mostly focusing on getting herself established in her job. Really with my 3 pov characters over time gradually become extremely clear none are really morally sound, nor good people with at the end of the day not-so noble motivation for dealing with the central conflict. Which I know doesn't fit in the usual enthusiastic or morally compass main leads of most books. Its setting..um... my own not really a pre-set fantasy world.

And further more I'm aware its gets very dark which niches it further into its own little nichy niche.

With many close relationships, both platonic and romantic being far from idealistic.

So I write a niche novel or nicheness

I'd say mine is pretty niche because of the premise and how my MC develops. While it is a romance and the MC is definitely troubled, the romance itself isn't what helps him much like I see in a LOT of romance novels. Without also giving away too much, his battle is a lot more internal, despite there also being an antagonist. While there is also the "monster inside me" trope, his monster inside isn't what is typically assumed.

Not to mention there are LGBTQ+ characters.

So this comic series may seem like a bunch of random characters being in a whole bunch of random stories. And they are. But in fact none of these characters are random as they all exist within the same fictional universe of comics. Every last one of them. The stories involved deal with monsters, myths, superheroes, and aliens.
