Not finished and might need a break

I have been working on comic(https://tapas.io/series/My-Heaven-Your-He) for 1 year now and have pretty muchhave drawn 1/2 of it as well as published 9 chapters so far. I learnt a lot from doing it and I don't regret ever starting and enjoy doing it as a fun hobby. I learnt about my preference to having a massive chunks of a script done and polished rather than small chunks before I draw or else I get reluctant to finish it. so my future project would be more suited to my style and alot more planned out thou I'm still more casual in updating the script currently.

However I took a break as I was leaving for university this summer so that I may settle in. However unlike back home I don't feel motivated to finish it. I'm even more afraid that for my still in scripting comic might share the same fate before I even draw it. I heard it might be because I'm too attach to both comics making me too reluctant to finish out of fear of failure.

I wonder if I should do something shorter and more quickly done like 11 pages at most, comic to get back in the grove of things. Or I should do some thing small and of little consequence like a gag a day? Any advise.

Yeah, i feel a gag comic would be less pressure and doesn't need a plot or have to think of a big ending.

I'd go with something short. Maybe not even "11 pages at most", more something like 1-2 pages if you have some plot for them.

It is my point of view only, but I feel like gag of the day is not something satisfying. One day you have an idea what to draw, another 2 days you don't (because nothing is happening in your life except daily routine). You may draw a dozen of them, but in the end it feels like you did nothing at all, especially if those are 1-picture comic.
But no harm in trying for sure! Though I would recommend something with...some kind of plot, it doesn't have to be a completed idea even, just start and end somewhere.

Also if you are tired and unmotivated, maybe it's better to simply take a break!
