Novel books. Have you make a real book? How do you do it?

Hey all

I am soon ready to setup a real novel book with pictures in and a map that can folds out if possible. (That will be some colour in the pictures as well)

What publishers have you use? Or do you know a good one?

I understand a good way is self publishing but still need someone to print the book.

I need to publish worldwide Eu/Uk/USA and so on.

My story is a fantasy/action/new-world

I never published a book but I can say that self publishing through amazon kindle is a good idea. Amazon Kindle provides you to publish a book in different countries. You can also translate it in different languages

Okay you have few options, if you want to do self publishing (there is also traditional and "hybrid/mixed) search for sites that offer print on demand or use Amazon (you can pick kindle version as well as paper version) , i don't remember all the details but i think you don't pay anything (they take % from your sales), if you want to buy book for yourself you pay only amazons cut (because it makes no sense to pay for your profit ).

Make sure to have everything perfect ( formatting vise) , i think Amazon delivers to most of places?

If you do pick Amazon, do you research since they have option for your book to be sold only there (amazon exclusive ) as well as option to just sell it thru them

Also from what i understood print for demand would be if i were to buy let's say 100 books (of my novel) and then sell them, Amazon prints and sends books to buyer, not you

Yes, if you pick exclusive you can sell only on amazon , so i suggest to pick other option (i'm not sure what is it called but i believe you have both options when you are giving them documents to work with)
