I make my own. (Link bc I don't have the clear image on me rn)
I'm also on wp.
I make mine with canva/shutterstock/pixabay.
That's cute.
I'm sort of hesitant to use Canva after they had that data breach. That's why I switched to GIMP (and the Youtube tutorials that I need to use it).
Ya, but the covers have to be royalty free so I don't have much of a choice (´ . .̫ . `)I also use picsart, since I'm limited to my phone
I only use commissioned or gifted art on Tapas and I also change to a more anime style here than I use on Wattpad. Below are my Tapas examples.
i don't quite understand what you mean. you can get royalty free images at a lot of websites. and then edit them into a cover with whatever program you like.
I had both of my OCs drawn by a professional artist (commissioned) and then I edited that into a thumbnail. I went with a more anime-like style, while if I ever publish this as an actual novel (like paperback, etc.) I would prefer using retouched photographs, basically close to what you'd find on the covers of novels in bookstores.
Thank you!!This is actually what I'm planning as the proper cover.
But when in Rome, do as the Romans do, lol.
For me, there aren't a lot of options, because I'm limited to my phone for making covers.
That looks cute as hell oml
Here’s mine:
I have an artist I’ve always worked with so whatever style she goes with I use. I say when it comes to covers they should always be simple and of course give an idea of what the story will be about (genre, action or not, main character, etc.)
I get royalty free images and edit them with paint.net and picasa. (Thumbnail of my next novel)
I'm really bad at drawing, so I don't have the option of drawing my own covers. In the future, I'm thinking of commissioning artists for covers. But currently, I'm using royalty free images and editing it in Canva. This is the cover for my novel!
I created a cover to post my novel on Wattpad:
But much like @joannekwan mentioned, this sight seems more geared towards the Webcomic/Light Novel approach so I made this tumbnail:
And the following banner:
sorry, missed reading the part about you being limited to your phone.
Wow, this looks so beautiful
This has a very Aesop's Fables meets the darkness vibe to it.
Same, I just thought I'd give drawing a shot. I'm okay at drawing things that I see in front of me. I dug out an old Wacom tablet my dad bought me ten years ago and tried it. Awful. So bad. Never again (at least, not any time soon). I realized that drawing from imagination is way harder, and digital art is no joke.
Lolol I'm not good at drawing things in front of me either! Oof I feel you. Art is definitely no joke.
