So I've got a book I'm working on but I can't think of a good name for it.
Plot/story line:
Sam Tracer is a 12 year agender/non-binary kid moving schools to a boarding school a while out from town. Sam, feeling uncomfortable with being forced in a dorm room for girls chooses to talk about it to one of their friends, Megan, finding out Megan is actually genderfluid. With the help of Megan and Their other friend Jakob, who starts going by Jesse now, who is a trans girl (Apparently Sam just has a talent for befriending trans people) they start up a GSA of sorts and have nights where they camp out in the nearby forest so people aren't forced into a gender.
Meanwhile a gang up north, "The Swordsmen" is gaining following and a prophecy is revealed saying that the swordsman will attack and no man or woman can stop them (but in a more prophecy like way). Of course when news of this heard of by the idiot that is now 14 year-old Sam, they decided that they can take them on as they aren't a man nor a woman. After somehow convincing their friends to fight as well the whole GSA thing group begins to learn to fight and crafts their own weapons thinking that maybe they might have a chance.
When the swordsmen arrive at their town almost everyone at the school is willing to help out most simply being nurses and such. The non-binary people take on the main leader (the one the prophecy was about) and the rest fight his followers. They win only out of sheer luck and that the swordsmen didn't expect them to be as good as they were (which still isn't very good) but their victory doesn't come without cost. Many die or are massively injured during the fight.
end of plot/storyline
So yeah sorry if i rambled on a bit i tend to do that. My current place holder title is "The Dormitory project" but idk if that fits seeing as most of the book is about the fight and training for it. What do you guys think?
