This might just be a random fact, but the more content you watch from different cultures, the easier it'll be to draw them. This is largely just because you'll get to see the wide variety of features there are, and videos (like MVs, vlogs, documentaries etc) will often show you subtleties you just can't find searching for pictures on Google or Pinterest.
I learned from keeping up with a musical artist that some Mexicans can have quite slanted eyes. A trait that becomes relevant to a bit of my ML's story in "Damsel in the Red Dress" and that isn't even a comic lol
