Months after the battle with Samarian, Leiyu and Thallios are living a quiet life in the countryside. When Leiyuâs martial brother Anying comes for a visit and tells them about a new job opportunity guarding ships on the maritime trade routes, Leiyu initially turns it down since he does not want to put Thallios in danger. However, Thallios is getting restless and is worried that they will eventually run out of money. He asks Leiyu to train him again so they can go out on new adventures.
