Other Art Platforms?

Hi hi!
Anyone know of other platforms where I can post my art. Other than Instagram and Deviantart. So far, I mainly post on Instagram, but if there are any other sites, then please let me know!

You can post on imgur, but people there maybe harsh in their opinions.

I suggest twitter and Tumblr (yes even now haha), because after the other two you mentioned I'm out of options too XD

Depends on what you want to do with your art.

If you want to grow your following, then yea more mainstream social sites are probably the best bet.

If you just want to post your art somewhere, I recommend Weasyl. It's basically a more user-friendly deviantart, and I use it to store my art.

I'm not sure how good Imgur is for art, but I use it as storage.

Some people suggest Artstation but it's really intimidating lol.

Yeah, I'm saving Artstation for when I can measure up for that intimidation. As for what I want to do, I just want to share my art and grow..

Maybe try amino? They have a specific community for art

Try Reddit. I remember reading about how a comic artist s post blew up after posting it on Reddit.

twitter and tumblr have a ton of artists on it (and tumblr calmed down with the flagging of boobs and honestly--it's been Pretty Great since all the drama people left. I kinda really dig it now because people can find my older art, unlike twitter where I have to keep retweeting old stuff for people to see it. The algorithm is bananas on twitter.) Pixiv is for more asian-based artists and anime, but there are other people on there. Pillowfort is a thing that exists but I am not sure how you get on it. And there's discord servers around if you want something with a more forum feel to it--I don't know how to get invite links since I only just started using it in the past few months, but if you search in the forum search tab for "discord server" you may find a few comic focused ones where you can post art and get feedback.

Tumblr! Because believe it or not, Tumblr's gotten better since the Mass Porn Exodus of December 17 2018 and most of the shittier people left (they still exist but you're unlikely to encounter them). Plus the algorithm is actually really good, I'm still getting notes for art I made last year/two years ago, and I still see stuff from other people in tags from like, 2-3 years ago.

Twitter is a good platform if you are able to connect with other artists. I've found almost all artists I've worked with via Twitter.

ArtStreet is an option. I don't think it's quite as popular as most other sites but it does seem to have an active and engaging user base. The "Ranking System" is still lost on me but it's got a pretty decent UI
