Other places to promote your comic than social media

it's not an uncommon opinion that social media sucks and it's not an unknown fact that it works against artists so places like Twitter Facebook Insta all have algorithms that make it so you have to be a caricature of yourself in order to get just a few views on your artwork.
Twitter especially is horrible cause it gives me anxiety every time I log on and ive been very seriously thinking of deleting my account.
and with Tapas phasing out its forums in favor of the Discord (which for me is overwhelming to use) the forums wont work too much longer either.
but idk any other way to promote my comics, aside from like, buying adspace??

and yea im gonna add myself to the disabled one
and i'll probably check out the comic review sites to see how that works

and eh its not that I'm uncomfortable with cons, but getting a panel or table at one is $$$$ priceyyy
and i know about two youtubers that do spotlights but you have to get into their patreon first and my wallet is hurtin ;;;;

I've thought of maybe using sites like twitch to talk while I draw but my personality's not 100% charming to most people lmao I can come off very brash or i'll rant about things that make people uncomfortable ;w; when i mostly want to do mental health talk.

• Post on Twitter every weekday, unless you have one webcomic then just do Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays
  Here's what I do lmao.
• Make music videos on TikTok everyday unless you have one webcomic then just do Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays
• Post videos on YouTube (on Weekdays) and Twitter (on Weekends).
• Post on Instagram every weekday. Mondays should just be panels from the episode you've posted, Wednesdays should be a sneak peek of what's to come, Fridays should be panels from you new episodes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for other comic art.
• Post on Deviantart every weekday.
• Post on Tapas Forums every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
• Post on Amiino every Friday (about 10 servers, but you can add one until you reach 20).
• Rinse, Wash, Repeat

Although I would like to know if there's anything else I can use. I'm thinking of doing Newgrounds.

Jesus, that is so much work. It takes so much time to promote a comic that there's no time left to actually make the comic. This is unsustainable.

Honestly.... I don't think I'm doing much. Funny enough, I actually have enough time to work on the comic lmao. THAT process is a little more spread out. I managed to get 16 episodes done. Currently planning the next five out. :v

But I guess it's working since I got 80 subscribers in two and a half months. I'm sorta miffed tho that I lost a subscriber and haven't gotten one in the past three days so now I'm like "GOTTA FIND MORE PLATFORMS!".

I'm thinking about getting Hootsuite tho. I be a busy bee. Bzz bzz.

It's why people use auto-post apps and the like. FB and insta use a "Creator Studio" that you can schedule through.
I know I just heard of an app from a katnipp video ..... I don't remember what it was called. I think she said it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4Q-wyYxKjU
She said that she sets aside a few hours on Thursday (or some random day of the week) to schedule the media posts. I don't think she does devART at all, but I know she does at least insta and twitter, and Patreon, but this is strictly for just an etsy business so the platforms might be a little different.

this seems super bad for your mental health because it makes you only focus on the numbers and not the people. even with that, I just have too much goin on in my life to post on every website :<

it's been months since I've made the original post and I just stopped using social media
there are certain days (Wednesdays and Sundays I think) where they boost webcomics that are exceptions. And i'll hang out on discord for a while. And I've been steadily growing (compared to when I posted this) with just being online for an hour a day posting art related stuff
Aside from that I make my comic and live my life. I can't imagine ever getting a TikTok and OBS is broken (rip, I'd be fine with smaller streams)

Depends on the person and the amount of time you have. I manage to make a schedule out of everything I do. Basically I try to be organized as much as possible. The funny thing is I actually manage to spend time with my fans while I'm doing all of this lmao.

It doesn't take too long. Maybe two-three hours. Even then I have a comic system where I'm able to pump them out with quality. I'm actually making a script for my upcoming YouTube Channel and some Webm Collections to be like "If you find this funny, you should check out my comic".

Honestly, I'm just doing all of this so I can make a living out of writing. Nothing wrong with networking.

I should ALSO mention that you're talking to a person who writes lists for fun. I remember my Mom being bothered by the fact that I would write lists as a kid. Organizing stuff. BUT NOW IT'S PAYING OFF > : ).
