Other sites to post on instead of Tapas?

I've already gotten sick of this...I don't even know a good word to say for this new layout.

Abomination? Abomination. Disappointment. Everything.

What other sites are good instead of Webtoons and Tapas to post stuff on? I've just lost all interest in Tapas at this point. I'd rather rebuild my community on another site at this rate if they don't change things back.

I'll just have to say good luck if you're wanting a site with comparable views. Tapas and Webtoons are the bigger contenders. you're free to go to places like smackjeeves, but honestly that site has gotten incredibly stagnant and the chances of you getting views on there is slim to none.

You can try places like imgr, Deviantart, Tumblr, Twitter, instagram, etc too. They have comics there they just don't cater to comics. You might be able to scrounge something up on those places if you grind hard enough though.

theres Comic Fury and Global Comixs but Comic Fury kind requires outside networking to get anywhere and Global Comix is so new that barely anyone visits it

First thing is, don't leave. The viewership you have here won't always translate to viewership elsewhere. Unless a giant new website shows up with perfect UI and tools, don't hop websites except for your content being unreasonably censored(eg tumblr purge) or no one else being there.

That said, it's good to have mirrors and never rely on one place that's out of your control. There's DeviantART, Twitter, etc; but you can also get a website via ComicFury or Wordpress, and always have that one area you can link for as long as the site exists and you can pay for a domain(if you want a custom link). However, it's incredibly hard to market in these places, and it's much better to instead have them a page ahead of schedule and go "feel free to read on Tapas, but there's extra pages/content in (your website)!".

Also note that if you did have to leave tumblr because of the nsfw purge, you won't be welcomed at WT where all nudity is banned LOL

Thanks for the advice, especially saying not to leave. Made me think a bit more on this rather than just blind rage/disappointment at the site.

I'll probably start postin' my "clean" comics (I don't really do anything other than swear sometimes) for tumblr. I do post on DA, I'll just put more up there sometimes.

Heck, I may even just redraw some earlier chapters for fun.

I'll try Comic Fury, that's for sure.

But you have to apply for it.
It's a pretty big community and imo quite nice.

graphite comics is really good. They allow 18+ stuff and pay $1 for every 1000 views guranteed

Do you know what Graphite's publishing terms and conditions are? I couldn't find any. It feels strange to publish there without know if I am waiving my right to my comic or not

There is also the webcomic apps.
But, from my observations their audience favour romance/shoujo, so I don't know how well other genres are doing there.
And unlike in tapas/webtoon you need to contact them so that you will be able to post your webcomic there. (I haven't posted there so I don't know the full details)

On NSFW content, there's also Slipshine, but they're for short, submitted comics; so less as a first option and more if you want to do ~20 pages of sexual content with a certain bit of experience in comics.

And of course, there's Hiveworks and Spiderforest Collective, but they're either for huge works or with at least one chapter of above-average quality, and you have to do website coding without their help.

Also, as much as I insisted to not cease posting here, I found people talking about an alternative to novel posting that could work as a mirror in case anything happens to Tapas - Royal Road, which is free to post in, allows Paypal/Patreon links and lets you post in other places just fine.

Well, it's not really a nudity, it's a f*cking electronic device, so I'll give it a try.
If they'll start to be angry on me, I'll just hide it's camera with quad copter, too.
