Okay, I know this may be downright annoying at this point, but I've been wanting to make a post like this but just did not know how to put my thoughts into words (ironic since I claim to be a writer). But I've finally mustered up the courage to just come out and ask.
I have been in discussion with countless other artists about this position and here is what I'm asking of you boils down to.
I require an artist who is quick at drawing with a very loose art style, the stories I have in mind do not have to be super detailed. I want to work with someone who is very open, honest, and easy to work with. If you have any concerns with my story or the direction things are going in, don't be afraid to speak up. But at the same time that doesn't mean you become a control freak and try to be manipulative and toxic about the whole thing.
This position isn't just open to artist one, because I have several stories I am willing to put out. So if you're a single artist who can keep up with multiple stories, or multiple artists who want to work on one of mine, consider reaching out to me.
If you would like to get a peek at my own credentials, I am a writer of about 12 years with decently successful Wattpad stories up (@VickyAruwa03) I have a semi-decent YouTube channel with close to 50k subs (The Virtual Celebrity) and I am currently working on publishing my own book online.

In terms of payment there are two avenues you can pursue~
One method is that I pay you for your work and services up front, so you do not fall under any risk in the event that I don't win the contest. You will tell me your price for creating what you make up front and we can negotiate how I will go about paying you before you start work. But if you pick this option then that means if I do win then you are not entitled to any of the prize money because I have already paid you for your services.
The other option is the more common and popular one I see people offering, it's where we work together and then split the money if we win.
Or I can create a third option, where I pay you a little bit for your work beforehand and then give you a small chunk of the prize money if we win.
If any of these paid options interest you than I again encourage you to reach out to me. In case you were also wondering, in terms of story ideas I have about 7 stories available right now to start work on for the webtoon contest.
So again, if you'd like to be a part of what I'm doing, or work with me, then reach out and let's get to work!
