There are lots of challenging panels like a battlefield with lots of dead people or action scenes. That's why I'm always amazed on how good they turn out
This one was not only difficult in implementation but also planning.Lots of research in war strategy and battle planning is incorporated:

I was super proud of this "panel." Unfortunately, it's weird to post this one without the other two minipanels, because of the way this page was designed, but that middle panel there with my monster is a perfect nod to Ito Junji, which I was fully intending. XD You can definitely tell I had a tribute there. So proud.

@Plague You're right, you can really tell it's an Ito Junji tribute - the eyes and the mouth sell it perfectly!

I'm pretty pleased with these two panels from the latest chapter of my comic, Whither. I made the switch to fully digital (finally able to afford it) and I feel like it's really given me a lot to work with, in terms of lineart and lighting and just... ambience. It translates better, as much as I like the feel of ink and brush.
