Ouch! Does not sound like the good attitude to me.
More generally, about the subject: to me, this art/writing category is one of the ASSETS of this forum.
Comic artists should necessarily be interested in writing; even if they don't make the job themselves, they have to be able to assess the skills of the authors they work with, and know the issues they potentially face etc; and this forum, with the variety of subjects discussed, is a very good way to get a global understanding of all that.
The writers may not have an interest in art if they don't think of collaborating with an artist (if they do, we go back to the previous point: they need some knowledge about how artists work). But they can get interesting answers from the comic artists community because comic artists are also often writers.
Separate the category into two and a lot of people will stick to the half that fits the best and ignore the other, and so many interesting messages and interactions will be lost.
